1-1:45: 6/23 “Photojournalism: From All Angles” with Cary Conover
Class Time:June 23 (W) 1-1:45
The session will look at photojournalism from a variety of perspectives, from scholastic to professional. Students of all experience levels will look at examples of photojournalism excellence and receive advice for covering their school year.
A native of Wichita, Cary Conover has taught photojournalism, newspaper, yearbook and broadcast at Andover High School since 2011. For ten years before that, Cary was a freelance photographer in New York City.

These sessions will present students with new ideas that they are unlikely to have encountered in the high school classroom. These are not software sessions. Instead, the sessions will present new ways of being a journalist or communicator in 2021 and provide lots of take-away examples that can motivate students when they return to school in the fall. Inspiration sessions last 45 minutes each via Zoom.
